I grew up in Campbellsville, KY and after graduation, I attended Georgetown College on an Art and Tennis Scholarship. It was there that I met my husband. Upon graduating in 1998, we moved to his hometown of London, KY where I began painting full time. I started with murals because I have always loved to paint BIG. However, my interest in other mediums drew me to additional classes throughout the years and I expanded to Decorative Faux Finishes and Decorative Concrete.
My business in Kentucky grew larger and more successful than my wildest dreams. I could not have imagined that I could have made a living painting murals living in the middle of Kentucky. A little over a year ago we moved our family to Chattanooga, TN in order for my husband to expand his restaurant business. Here, in a city that loves art and its artists, I feel inspired and overwhelmed. I have decided not to pursue murals but to develop and grow a studio business so that I may spend more time at home with my family instead of traveling every day with a car loaded with paint and ladders. I love my job and feel so blessed to have been given this talent that I have.
Thank you for taking the time to check out my work.
